This week, we’re exploring how showcasing awards on your website can increase your credibility and help drive more conversions. Awards act as a powerful ‘stamp of approval,’ reassuring potential customers and setting your business apart from the competition.
From understanding the value of awards to tips on getting nominated and a special website review of the week, we’ve got plenty to cover—so let’s dive in!
Awards: Your 'Stamp of Approval'
Incorporating awards on your website can significantly enhance your brand’s image and by extension, business growth. They're especially relevant to you if your product or service is either a higher value or more complicated transaction.
The right award or shortlisted nomination can position you more effectively in the eyes of your potential clients...it suggests that experts have cast their eye over your business and given it their stamp of approval.
Whilst powerful, it's unlikely that awards will be top of your list when considering which conversion elements to tackle...they're hard to come by, often requiring a fair bit of effort and investment. And remember, whilst almost always positive, some awards will carry more weight in the eyes of your prospects.

The Hopefully, Helpful Website Review of the Week
Each week I review between five and ten websites for businesses looking to improve their conversions... and now each week, I'm going to draw out the most useful conversion aspect here.
This week's Hugely Helpful Website Review comes from a website which had all the right elements to convert well…
THE CHALLENGE FACED
One of the biggest problems faced by business owners (especially those who interact with great organisations such as Entrepreneurs Circle) is not the lack of knowledge of what to do, but more the lack of knowing which elements are the most important...and how to best 'tell the story'.
And this was the challenge faced by Salsa Buena, a Salsa school in Cardiff (look them up if you're ever there). They'd done a great job or including all the right elements to convert on their website, but in this case, they were showing off their awards too soon.
Awards will normally come towards the lower end of a web page...they're important, but first we need to show potential clients that we're right for them...in this case the awards preceded the info about when and where the classes were held.
The great news is that unlike brochures, web pages are easily shuffled and rearranged, so this was an easy fix!
That’s all from me - have a great high conversion week!
